BIG NEWS! Pssst.....AWRT Houston is giving away MONEY! Do you know a college student interested in Media? 2010 Spring Scholarships Available!! § Each Year AWRT Houston awards scholarships and internships to outstanding College Juniors and Seniors, both men and women, interested in pursuing a career in media. § In the past, up to $10,000 in scholarship money has gone out to ambitious Juniors and Seniors interested in taking the next step toward a career in media. Funds are available for the Fall 2010 semester. § Internships are available with leading local advertising agencies, television and radio stations, and production companies in various departments. § Students must bring a letter from their advisor insuring that the time that they put in as an intern will be used as part of a course and credit toward their degree plan. § Fill out an application on-line at www.awrthouston.org starting November 4, 2009 and turn it...
